Summer’s just around the corner and the good news for residents of Kandos and Rylstone looking to beat the heat is that new shade sails are set to be installed at the local swimming pool.
Member for Bathurst Paul Toole has announced a NSW Government Community Building Partnership (CBP) grant of $22,500 for Mid-Western Regional Council to carry out the improvements.
“After consultation with users of the pool the new shade sails will be located on the eastern side of the venue,” Mr Toole said.
“The NSW Community Building Partnership program awards grants for community infrastructure projects.
“These are aimed at initiatives that deliver positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes while also promoting community participation, inclusion and cohesion.”
